Hey everybody! Who...
Hey everybody! Who is you your favorite author? J. K. Rowling, perhaps? Or maybe Lemony Snicket? Mine is Elizabeth George Speare. She wrote The Witch Of Blackbird Pond, Sign Of The Beaver, and my new favorite, The Bronze Bow.
Have you read any of her books? Who is your favorite author in general?

The Bookish Texan, I really, really, really respect you for liking "the Witch of Blackbird Pond." That sort of thing seems to bore most people :(
My favorite author is J.R.R Tolkien. His works seem to speak out the very inmost feelings and beliefs inside me that I could never say or describe so well. We share a personality type (INFP) and I feel as though I know him. He is one of my dearest friends. (Which is one of the reasons why I'm a little more than annoyed with Peter Jackson and his so-called "Hobbit" films-- nobody messes with my friends!!!)
I also enjoy Jane Austen and Wilkie Collins and Lloyd Alexander and I've just begun discovering Agatha Christie (if you have not read 'And Then There Were None", and if you are at least 11 years old, you must!). There are more that I can't think of right now. Happy reading, all you book-sprites! Go on and soar across the boundless skies, sail aross the deepest seas, trek along the most adventuresome of lands, with your most beloved author to guide you! :)

I love The Witch of Blackbird Pond!
But hmm, either J. K. Rowling, Trenton Lee Stewart, or Jonathan Stroud.
