Chatterbox: Blab About Books
The Hunger Games
A hard to...
A hard to put down book . . .
To prove their dominance over the districts, the Capital hosts the Hunger Games--2 people from each district are chosen to fight to the death.
Not gory, actually, with a tint of romance; I'd recommend it. Not my favorite book ever, y'know, but opinions, anyone??

Was that written by Ellen Raskin, the author of The Westing Game? I'm in the middle of that, and it's enthralling.

Have you read Cinda Williams Chima's The Warrior Heir? Because your description sounds almost the same as that book! (Which I really liked).
