FAV SECONDARY CHARRIES
I have this...
I have this happen to me a lot. Most of my fav charries in a book or movie are only secondary charries!
IT DRIVES ME CRAZY.
Like for instance, Blue from The Meragerie. SSSOOOOO AWESOME!!! SUCH A SECONDARY CHARRIE!!!! =(
Another fav one! Legolas from LOTR!! I know he's not quite as much of a secondary charrie, but I wish there was more on him!! FYI, I have only seen 1.5 of the movies and haven't actually read the book, so that might be part of it....
Anyway, does this happen to you guys too?

I too have quite a few characters that I really like and they are what you would call "secondary" characters. One of the most notable ones I can think of off the top of my head being Horace from Rangers Apprentice.
I don't quite understand way it would drive you crazy. I mean, they're obviously their for a reason, and I have heard of quite a few authors liking and feeling more attached to their supporting characters rather than their main characters.
Often, if those so called secondary characters were left out of the book, the story would loose a lot of it's potency. It would fall short with out those characters.
Oh, and you must read The Lord of The Rings! XD It's just a must. Tolkien said that he considered Sam more of the hero of the story than Frodo, so there's an example of an author thinking their "secondary" character more important than the main.

NICO. DI. ANGELO.
I don't know if he's really a secondary character, but he's is my favorite fictional character ever and there's not as much about him as the others in Percy Jackson.
