Hi Everybuggy! Um, I'm new here, although I've been getting Cricket mag for a long time. Can anyone tell me what top is? And CAPTCHA? And t.o.n.? And... well, you get the idea. Anyway, I love books and some of my favorites are Harry Potter (of course!) Mysterious benedict Society (has anyone read that? It's not very popular but it's an AMAZING series. It starts out slow but be persistent!!) Treasure Hunters by James Patterson, ummm......... oh! I love the Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place, that's a great series, URRGH I am so mad AT THE AUTHOR! Talk about a cliffhanger! She TOTALLY LEFT US HANGING at the end of book 5. Can't wait for 6!
Does anyone else like those? Also any book suggestions? I don't really know how this whole thing works yet but hey! whatever!

I'm Horse Spirit Girl. I also LOVE Harry Potter. I love the Mysterious Benedict Society, too. I act, sing, dance, write and make music. Enough about myself. On to your questions.
Top. Top means basically "take this thread to the top of the page". People will post this one a thread they like, have created , etc. Posting Top usually moves the thread to a higher spot on the page.
CAPTCHA. You know the random letters you have to type in at the bottom of the page before you hit submit. That is the captcha. CB kinda "adopt" them a name theirs. Mine is named Ompa. Sometimes CBers post what their Captcha says.

Hi silentpretzel! Welcome to the Chatterbox, aka CB. On here we create threads and do lots of writing and role-plays and such. Top is posted when someone wants a certain thread to go to the top of it's section (Otherwise it gets lost and goes deeper and deeper into the CB until nobody can ever find it). A CAPCHA is the random four letters that appear at the bottom of the screen whenever you try to post something. Some people give their CAPCHAs names and try to make words out of the letters they "say". Like: Byte (my CAPCHA) says urgd. Urged? It sounds like he has a stomachache.
Also, alter egos (AEs) are people's random, crazy, annoying counterparts. You don't have to make one up, but many people do. They usually get into pie fights and play pranks and/or set things on fire. A few (like Feather or Critic A) are slightly calmer.

Yayyyy!!!! Someone who has read The Mysterious Benedict Society!!!! I, too, absolutely adored that series! I read all the books. Did you read the one about Mr. Benedict's childhood?
