Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Fish in a Tree
Has anybody read...

Has anybody read this? I bought it today, and it was so good that I read the whole thing cover to cover in one afternoon.

It's a book about a girl named Ally who can't read, and has made it through every year up until 6th grade covering up this fact. She gets teased a lot and doesn't want to ask for help, fearing that everyone will think she is dumb. However, her new teacher sees that she is smart and helps her learn. She learns more about herself, learns how to read, and meets some new friends along the way.

This book was absolutely amazing! I smiled a lot, and almost cried a few times. I love love loved it!

Yes! It is such an amazing book. "Great minds don't think alike" is one of the truest statements in a book ever.

"If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will spend it's whole life feeling stupid."
