Hi, I'm bibliophile,

Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Hi! Has anyone read Out of My Mind?
Hi, I'm bibliophile,...

Hi, I'm bibliophile, and I'm new to Chatterbox. I really love to read, sing, and I also like to act.

Anyway, I recently  re-read a book called Out of My Mind. It's about a girl named Melody who is a genius. She has Cerebral Palsy, which means she can't move or talk. It's a really awesome book! Has anyone else read it?

Hi Bibliphile! Welcome to the CB. I'm currently reading Out of my Mind. It's really good! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good book. I'd also recommend a book called Fish in a Tree. It's kind of similar because it's also about a girl with disabilities, but not the same kind.

Hi, Bibliophile! Good to see new CBers. I'm Poetic Panda!

I read Out of My Mind in fourth grade, and I loved it, especially Melody's neighbor Violet!

I loved Out of My Mind! Bibliophile, I also recommend Wonder (the best book ever, in my opinion) about a boy with a deformed face. As well as A Mango-Shaped Space,  which is about a girl with synesthesia. I also recommend The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. Don't take the title for granted, though. It's about a boy with autism. @Dragonrider:My Aunt and Uncle gave me Fish in a Tree for Christmas. Is it about a girl with dislexia? It's not like I want to be a doctor or something, but I LOVE

I know! Out of My Mind is such a great book! I've read Wonder and A Mango Shaped Space, and they are awesome books too! I will definitely try Fish in a Tree and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime.

Also, if you like A Mango-Shaped Space, you  might want to read other books by Wendy Mass, like Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life, Every Soul a Star, Pi in the Sky, and The Candymakers. In my opinon, the first section of The Candymakers is kind of slow, but once you get through that, it starts getting really good.

Thank you guys so much! I was out of town and couldn't get on the computer, so this is really great to come back to!

Oh gosh, that sounded corny. But I do mean it!

P.S. I created a CAPATCHA, Lady Lavender Agatha Lousia the 67th of Riverdale! She said "ieeo". It sounds like she's hurt!
