Evil Character Names that Sound Really Nice
I was looking...

I was looking around on Pottermore (Yes, I'm still ultra-mad at them but I can't resit it) and I found out that Draco's maternal grandmother's name is Druella. And I just thought, wow, that is such a pretty name! If I didn't know these were most likely evil, unpleasant people we are dealing with, I'd name my hild that! Well, not really. And then I was thinking about Bellatrix, who happens to have a very nice name even though she is actually horrifingly brutal. Seriously, people give all their evil charaters the best names! Unless they don't have names, that is and are just reffered to as a witch of a general direction.

What other awesome but evil names can you think of?

I always really liked Maleficent. I also like Loki. He's kind of a villain because he plays evil pranks on all the gods.

One that I can think of off the top of my head is Jadis, the white witch in Narnia.  I've always liked her name, but she's extremely evil.

Rapunzel spelled backwards is Leznupar; I used that in a story once.

I think Misty means "worry" because Opal Koboi is very bad news. ;-)

President Snow from The Hunger Games. Well, this could be considered evil or good. Good because of Snow White and the peace and purity of snow. Bad because snow is cold and blizzards can be harsh.

Mesmeranza from Clover Twig and the Magical Cottage. I read this many years ago, and I still remember the villain's name. Weird.

Also Khan Noonian Singh (guess where!) and Lumiya from the old Star Wars Expanded Universe.

OH MY GOSH I LOVE CLOVER TWIG! It is such a fantastic book! I was considering putting Mesmeranza's name on this thread but thought against it.

I LOVE THAT BOOK!!! I didn't know anyone had heard of it. It's a bit young for me but I still like it!

Katriona is a good villain name, though it's given to the good fairy in Spindle's End.
