OK, I am...

OK, I am SO sorry! I have made yet another thread for this!! But, ny computer is STUPID.:(:) Just remember were we laft off, OK? Lillian, Belinda, Drusilla, and I were in the Room of Requerment. Albus and others were looking for Lillian.:)

Albus and I crept through the halls, me wincing whenever a floorboard creaked or an owl hooted. We rounded corners, cautiously, quaking and shaking.

"Albus?" A voice seemed to trickle out of midair. "Is that you?"

Without thinking, Albus and I clutched at each other. I watched, amazed, as James emerged from thin air.

"You have it?" Albus gasped, his eyes on the transparent garment folded over James' arm.

"Yah," James grinned, pleased with himself. "Heard of a commotion from Peeves. Missing kid? Decided to check it out."

He stode on ahead, leaving me to rush behind him.

This works? Would he have the cape? ?

((He might have the cape. Surely Harry doesn't need it anymore? I dunno...what does everybuggy else think? And I forget -- where am I? Am I in the RoR still?))

((I'm pretty sure James would have the cloak. That's how it works, right? It gets passed on to the oldest son, and Harry doesn't need it anymore. Anyway, it'll be good for the plot, so I vote yes. And yes, I think you're still in the RoR with Drusilla and Belinda and everyone.))

((Okay, I agree about the cloak. I can't imagine Harry needing it anymore...at least I HOPE not... *snicker*))

The door opened and my heart seemed to freeze. Was it the professors?

"Lillian!" Keira said. "What are you doing here?"

"Um..." I turned red. Hopefully Keira couldn't see it in the dark. "Was the password 'cage'?"

" 'Sage'," Keira said. "Did you hear 'cage'?"

I nodded. "And I couldn't get in and - "

"And then we decided to give her a helping hand," said Belinda, smirking. "But Peeves started yelling and this group showed up - " She nodded at the Ravenclaw girl and the others.

"And then you came," I finished.

"Well, come on then," Keira said. "Before the professors wake up and we get detention. What is this room, anyway? It's all filled with ash."

"Fire here during the war," Drusilla said. "If you were really a wizard, you'd know that."

Then the door opened, and I flinched.

(((Is it okay if I come in here? Oh, and do you think it would be possible that the Weasley joke shop could still be open and they could have, like, working copies of the Mauraders Map? 'cause that would be cool. if not, then half of this post won't work.)))

When I got to the dormitory, I got out my MMap and saw that my least favorite Slytherins were out in the halls, herding Lilian with Albus, Kiera, and James following them, I had to get out there and see it. I hit the hallways, glancing at my MMap every once in a while to check that they were going where I thought they were. Yup. The Room of Requirement. I opened the door and slipped in. Lilian looked like she was going to scream. "It's just me." I whispered. She relaxed, but still looked like a deer-in-headlights. Belinda glared at me. "How did you get here?", she sneered. I shrugged. No need for her to know about my MMap. I looked at James. "Whoa! Your dad gave you the Cloak! I'm impressed! How did you convince him?" "Long story.", he replied with a shrug. "Turns out he was planning to give it to me anyway." He wasn't surprised to see me, as he had the original Maruader's Map, and knew that I had gotten one on our latest trip to Diagon Alley. (((The joke shop is in Diagon Alley, right?))) A voice that I knew, but hadn't expected, suddenly made me jump to look at the last member of our little party. "Aqua?" I asked incredulously. She half-laughed, quietly as not to attract a teacher. "Just having a late-night walk." I didn't believe her, but decided to ask her about it later. Right now, I needed to find out what Belinda and her friends were up to.

((Um, I don't want to mess up your story, but 1. it's gone off in a sorta different way. If you want to be the person who came in, that's how you can enter the scene, but as of now we're waiting in the RoR for...um...someone. 2. I seriously doubt that George kept the joke open. 3. I also seriously doubt that they made copies of the Maurauder's Map. Sorry about this!!!))

((Actually, Lena, a friend of mine said that Ron and George started running the joke shop together. So that could work. And they could have made copies of the MMap. But, it is doutfull. She can keep it for now how 'bout though? OK.)):)

Okay! :)

((Yeh, Ron's running the jokeshop with George (whose son is named Fred, by the way). Harry is an auror and the department head. She says Hermoine is "pretty high up" in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement... Ginny played for the Holyhead Harpies for a time, then retired to be with her children and now is the senior Quidditch correspondent for the Daily Prophet.

In the same interview she said that McGonagall was "getting on a bit" and that there was a new Headmaster. However, Kingsley isn't an option since he's head of the ministry now. She also said that she pictures Harry giving the occasional lecture in DADA, so we could have some fun with that. Especially with my characters, h'm...

There are no copies of the Marauder's Map, but James apparently nicked the original from his dad's desk one day.

Scorpius, apparently, is an improvement on his dad. Which could create some interesting conflicts in the near future.

Dolores Umbridge was arrested for crimes against Muggleborns (justice! sweet justice!), Luna Lovegood married the son of Newt Scamander (who wrote "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them), and is a famous wizarding naturalist.

Oh- and Harry has Sirius' motorbike. Arthur Weasley fixed it, apparently.

So, we still need a headmaster, and a DADA teacher. Erm... What about one of the members of Dumbledore's Army from OotP for DADA? That would be fun. Like, Terry Boot maybe? He participated in the battle of Hogwarts, and got into a lot of trouble with the Carrows when they were running the school.

Headmaster though... Hum... No idea.))

((Wow...you sure know a lot about Harry Potter... I like the idea of Harry giving lectures on DADA. ;) Okay, the joke shop's still open, but I still am not sure about just anyone being able to have a Maurauder's Map. Sorry, Hazel! But I'm getting too uptight. We can have it that way if you want.

I like Terry Boot as DADA teacher. Let's have him! Okay, now for headmaster...h'm, this is hard. Aberforth? (just joking) Maybe some older Order of the Phoenix member. Except I'm drawing a blank on one who hasn't been killed.))

I turned to the door, and to my surprise saw Hazel Lorena, a 2nd Year, ((right, you 2nd Year?)) comeing through the doors. I waited for her to spot me, then spoke.

"OK, before you ask, I'll just tell you," Hazel nodded, and I continued. "I was returning from dinner, and I must have taken a wrong turn, but the I ran into Mrs. Norris. So I went to the closest room, which happened to be this. Then those 3 came in. Alright?"

"Alright. So-" Belinda cut her off.

"How did you find us?" she glared.

"I saw you three,"she pionted them out. "comeing in here, so I decided to check it out, OK?"

"No, it's not OK. Who knows who else knows we're in here now? There could be teachers coming right this minute!" Drusilla pionted out.

"Speaking of teachers....."Lillian said.

Then we all noiticed Albus and JAmes were gone.

About five minutes after the initial panic upon finding out that the famous brothers had vanished, it was immediately decided that we would just have to go look for them.

"No," I said flatly. "No way."

"You have to!" hissed Lorena, glaring at me.

I folded my arms. "Why, pray tell?"

"You're the one who got us into this mess, by dragging Lillian down here."

"Oh sure, blame me," I snarled.

"I will, thanks," she said.

"I'm not going to help you search for the Potter boys," I said. "If you want to go tearing about at midnight, searching for two boys with an Invisibility Cloak and an encyclopedic knowledge of the school's secret passageways, be my guest. But you are not dragging me or Drusilla into it."

Lorena glared at me, and began to reach for her wand. "It's your fault, you have to help," she insisted.

I flicked my wrist. The sheath on my forearm clicked very softly, and my wand slid down into my palm. I half-raised it, glaring at her. She froze with her hand in her pocket. "Still faster," I said, smirking.

She dodged out of the way and pulled her wand out in a single, fluid motion. My curse smacked harmlessly into a pile of ash.

Her counter came quickly, in the form of a simple stunning charm. I blocked it with a flick of my wrist and fired off a curse of my own invention, which acted exactly the same way as the jelly-legs curse, minus the painfully visible streak of light. My curse was totally invisible, especially in the dark.

Lorena didn't even know it was coming until it hit her, and her legs collapsed. I grinned at her as she struggled to regain her feet.

"Good night, then," I said.

Standing up to bullying had never been my strong suit, and now was no exception. I stared at Lorena, clearly in pain, and I should've whisked out my wand and performed some kind of miraculous curing spell. Except I didn't know any.

Belinda and Drusilla turned to go.

"Wait a minute," Hazel Lorena said, still struggling on the floor. "You're going to leave us alone in the mess you got us into?"

"Not our mess," Belinda said with a smirk. "It's Lillian's fault - if she'd heard the password right, we wouldn't be here. And second, I'm not leaving you here. No doubt the teachers will be able to straighten things out."

((Is that controlling you, TNÖ? I always feel like I'm on the brink of doing that.))

((Don't worry about it, Lena, you're very good at staying in character so I don't mind.))

We left, slipped behind a sleeping portrait, and came out just in front of the entrance to our common room.
