Book Quote Guessing
Pretty self explainitory,...

Pretty self explainitory, isn't it? I saw a song one of these in Pudding's Place and decided, Why not? Just in case you don't get it, you post a quote from a book you read—Without saying the book's name of course! Then people guess, etc. There was probably another one of these at some point... ah well.

"You're thinking about something... It makes you forget to talk. I can't tell you what the moral of that is, but I shall remember in a minute."

Happy quote guessing!

@Lulu: that's The Golden Compass, right?

@Air: sorry, but I have no idea!

I won't post a quote since I didn't answer Air's.

Quote: "The Scholars greeted the visitor and moved into the room, some sitting around the table, some in the armchairs, and soon a buzz of conversation filled the air."  Love this book.

Since no one appears to be guessing, maybe you could post another quote?

Can I post one? If so, if not disreguard all further messages.

"Don't even think about screaming new kid, very bad things will happen if you scream."

I don't think this is a popular book but i will give it try.

The Stormglass Protocal, right? On a similar note:

"I assumed the secret lair hidden three stories beneath us fell into this category."

I've got one!!!

I'm a hole in the ground there lived a oooooo. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms* and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing to sit down on or to eat: it was a oooooo-hole, and that means comfort.

I had to do the oooooo thing, because otherwise you would know what the book is.

*poor George and Tail :-(
