This book is one of the best books that I've ever read. It's about two kids, Peter and Kate, who get sent from the 21st century, to the 1700s! And things just get worse when a bandit, who's known all around town as the Tar Man, steals the machine--and their only chance for going back home. So they start off on a perilous journey with a new companion through old-fashioned London, full of bandits, thieves, and people not to be trusted, to try and find their way back home. It's a wonderful book, and anyone who likes long, good reads, books that include time traveling, or both should make sure to read this book. It's by Linda Buckley-Archer, and there's also a second book in the trilogy. A third book is coming out soon, too.:)

The second book is called The Time Thief. If possible, the ending is even more continuous then the first one! It's a really good book, and it's full of mind bending twists and turns. If you've read the first one, this bpok should be the next thing that you read.:)
