Willow Falls
Has anyone here...
Has anyone here read the Willow Falls series (11 Birthdays, Finally, 13 Gifts, The Last Present, Graceful)? If so please be free to talk about anything about 'em!!! Angelina De Angelo, Amanda and Leo's moment on the sandbar, killer bunnies, etc. The Willow Falls series is my fave book series so far and I wanna see who enjoys them as much as me!!

I absolutely LOVE that series (and other Wendy Mass books like Pi in the Sky and The Candymakers), and I'm so glad she continued it with Graceful, I thought The Last Present was the last one, but it wasn't... And the future vision bit-- spoilers ahead--
When David proposed!!! When I read that, I literally fangirled over it for the rest of the day. And nobody knew what I was talking about. I'm kind of sad Rory and Jake didn't end up together. I liked them as a couple. But oh well. And Amanda and Leo...they were grandparents!

I LOVE those books. They're my favorite series besides Percy Jackson. I love how they're wacky, but they're not complete fantasy. It has normal everyday people, but it also has magical things. However, they lead perfectly normallives most of the time, but the magical things interfere sometimes. It's not like in Percy Jackson or Harry Potter where they get sent away to a special school or camp bcause of certain powers.
Plus, I just love the stories in general. They're funny and interesting, and the way th plot unfolds is really exciting!

These are some of my favorite books definitely. I read the first 3 in 4th grade, then the rest as they came out. I love all the different characters and the humor. Did you hear Wendy's putting out a second Candy Makers book?! I can't wait to read it! I should probably read the original first, though. I just haven't gotten around to it for some reason.

Has anyone read Heaven Looks a Lot Like The Mall? I found that book at a yard sale, and I love it! It's weird -- I'd never heard anything about it before, but it's a really great book. It's written kind of sort of like a poem.
