Has anyone else read anything about the First and Second Ages of Middle-earth???

Sort-of-not-but-not-really-connected-to-the-subject: can anyone identify the source of the name "Russandol"?

I'm going to read The Silmarillion soon, and my brother bought Unfinished Tales, so I plan to read that, too. As for the others, I plan to read them eventually, but I don't own them or have them checked out from the library or anything like that.

Aetc says deof. Day of what? Or are you saying that de means "of" in some other language? Or do you mean the Latin word deo, which is entirely different?

"De" does mean "of" in another language -- French! Aetc is bilingual.

On Topic: I have not yet read the Silmarillion. *is shot* But I plan on it.

It means of in Spanish as well! I wonder which he meant. Or maybe he's multilingual! Well, I suppose he is either way, because he's spoken spam-code language and English before... Oh, and gato! So that's 3 if not 4... Now he just says rgwh.

On topic: Well, I haven't either... Yet.
