Chatterbox: Blab About Books

So I finally got a phone.

*happy dance!*

And what's one of the first things I think of? Ohhh, I can record myself on this. Hey, I could record myself reading a book on this.

Yeah. Not texting, not calling, but reading a book aloud and recording it. I've had the phone for like, 5 days and I still haven't texted anyone. #nerd

And yes, I am going to record myself reading a book. Specifically, The Penderwicks. I used to read aloud to my brother (and I still do, whenever a new Ivy+Bean comes out because they are really clever and funny. We both practically died reading the 9th one) and I read him the first three Penderwick books and he loved it. So much, that when the new Penderwick book came out, he reread the series again.

I've gotten through the first chapter (so far the recording's 14 minutes) and I hope to just keep adding to it!
