Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Terry Pratchett, Anyone?
Has anyone else...

Has anyone else read Terry Pratchett's books? The very first book I read of his was The Amazing Maurice And His Educated Rodents, which I really liked, but then I somehow never got around to reading other books of Pratchett's. Never, that is, until I was reading a blog about books and there was an announcement that he'd died. I read up about him and his books, and got mad at myself for not realizing how awesome all his other books were while he was still alive! In fact, I got mad enough at myself that I got a bunch of his books out from my library right away, and then I sat down and read them, and nearly died myself at the sheer awesomeness of them. So anyways, have any of you peoples read Terry Pratchett's books?

If you have, say something! What books of his have you read, if you can pick a favourite what is it, etc!

If you haven't, and you like fantasy that's funny and really original (somehow that sounds ridiculously cheesy, but it's true), you should probably READ ALL HIS BOOKS!!!

*coughs* Sorry about that. If I haven't convinced you yet, just look up the Ankh-Morpork National Anthem...

P.S. Captcha said a real word! bond! Do you mean like James Bond the spy, Captcha? I'm pretty sure he's not in any of Terry Pratchett's books!

My friend told me he died the other day and I was like, what? Wait, he's dead and I haven't read all his books?;)

I've actually only read one, Dodger. Excellent book, very much an older Oliver Twist (I say older like it's Oliver himself that's older, not the reader).

*kicks down the door*

YOU HAVE SUMMONED A PRATCHETT FANBOY!

Good story: A while back, I closed a tab and for some unexplicable reason, an image of Terry Pratchett flashed across the screen right after the tab closed, Scared the crud out of me, it did. A day later, I learned he had died the day before.

The death tweets were enormously sad. He was a brilliant man.

Yes! There's a series I'm reading by him. I forget what it's called, but the first is The Light Fantastic.

I was sad to hear he died. Sniff
