Fictional Parents! This...

Fictional Parents! This may sound a bit weird, but it's like the fictional crushes thread but instead with parents. OK, as much as I love my parents, did you ever read a book or watch a show and think "Wow, it would be AWESOME if that was my dad," or something like that." Not like in anger you wish those people where you parents, just a passing thought.

Here are mine after watching the Lord of the Rings Movies I couldn't help thinking that Aragorn and Arwen would be awesome parents.

The tenth Doctor, I mean seriously, you could travel with him everywhere!

Artemis when I read the Percy Jackson books I thought of which Greek god would I want to be my parent, had to go with her. I know they swore never to have children but so did some of the other gods!

Yes, someone else who picks fictional parents! (Note: I, also, think my parents are wonderful.) Here are mine:

From Harry Potter:

Molly and Arthur Weasley (this would also give me awesome siblings)

Sirius Black

Remus and Nymphadora Lupin (sibling thing here too; I think Teddy Lupin would be a great sibling)

Kingsley Shacklebolt

From the Mysterious Benedict Society:

Mr. Benedict (Rhonda and Number Two for siblings? Heck yeah!)

Miss Perumal (yet again, awesome sibling)

From Big Hero 6: 

Aunt Cass (she's super nice AND she owns a cafe)

Also, Miss Honey from Matilda and Mary Poppins from Mary Poppins (she's practically perfect in every way).

I just watched a play of Mary Poppins for the first time in years, and I was thinking that I want her to come and sort things out in my house! But she as a mom would be awesome too.

And I would love to have Tonks as a sister.

I think Harry and Ginny would be good parents! So would Molly and Arthur. And Gran'ma Ben from Bone.

Hey, I love my parents as much as anybody can, but like, the way I read these parents, I sometimes think "If I couldn't have my parents, then maybe . . . " 

Mr. & Mrs. Weasley (I men, how awesome would that be? Awsome siblings, and I can use magic! And get tips for broomsticks from my big brother, and tips for practical jokes from my other brother)  

Posiden (He, I know he isn't arouhnd much, but when he is - that dude's awesome!)

Sally Jackson - and possibly Paul  (Need I say anything about Sally?)

Sirius Black (Hey, having a "convict" for a father wouldn't be too bad. I mean, if he's Sirius. Dung wouldn't be as great.) 

Marmee (Sweetest, wisest mother in the history of literature.)

Anne and Gilbert. Or Marilla and Matthew  (Must I say anything?)

Grady and Edaline or Alden and Dela (From KotLC. Awesome parents.)
