I LOVE THE PHANTOM TOLLBOOTH! When I was little, it was my bedtime book, and I have read it about ten or more times since then. I have never found another book like it. I wish there were many! But, then again, if there were others then this book wouldn't be as special and unique as it is (and deserves to be).

This book is great; my fave characters are the humbug, the weather man and the smallest giant.

This is one of my favourite books, and I thought no one else knew about it!! It's awesome and I love the names and the metaphors and stuff, and it's the perfect book to read when you feel like there's no point to anything or you're really bored, because coming out of reading it you feel like there are so many things to see and do and learn! That might sound cheesy, but it's true. At least for me, anyways.

I love how randomly whimsical this book is. And how it's all metaphors except sometimes they don't entirely make sense. Like how the Humbug swam in the Sea of Knowledge and came out completely dry. Or how (Spoiler alert!!!!) the whole venture was impossible...until they did it. Or the people that grow down instead of up in order to never mess up their point of view.
