Is it weird...

Is it weird that I like to read cookbooks? I don't think of weird as an insult, so I wouldn't be offended if you say yes. I just want honest opinions. Fruity, what do you think?

Yeah, that's weird. But recipes are kind of interesting! Oh, and I don't think that was a yes. That was bpye aka keep calm and be a pie aka go get your cookbook and make a pie already!

Gordon says yoaz. Is that yogurt? Ooh! Lightbulb! Yogurt pie! Yeah. that's weird. But go make me a yogurt pie!

I love flipping through cookbooks- I don't know if I've mentioned it before on the CB, but cooking is one of my passions. I love just reading the tips in cookbooks and the little backstories from the chefs. ANy of the Americas Test Kitchen books are great for that reason. I also love Babycakes, Vegan Cupcakes take over the World, The Vegan Scoop, Kids can Cook...anyone notcing a trend? Yeah, my family is vegan/vegetarian/super health conscious, so our cookbooks reflect that. I actually like reading those type of cookbooks more, cause you can learn some awesome substitution facts etc.

I love flipping through cookbooks! I like looking at baking ones, especially, in a yearning sort of way.  I have done a lot of of baking of the sweet sort in the past; but alas, my parents finally decided that there was too much dessert in our lives. *Sob* 

I make New York style pizzas all the way from scratch, the sauce, dough, everything. It's quite fun. =)

i dont think it's weird at all. I love to bake and always read the cookbooks for good recipes.
