The first Inheritance Cycle book, Eragon,

is a book about a poor farm boy whose parents died. He lives on a farm with his uncle and cousin.  One day he was hunting and he found a weird blue stone! He had this guy tell him its worth and he he said probably not much. Then one day the stone cracks and a baby dragon comes out!
