Chatterbox: Blab About Books

I haven't seen a thread on these yet, so I decided to make one!

I LOVE the Hunger Games! They are like my second favorite series!!!! (Nothing could beat HP.) I really love all the conflict and the way the plot is set up is beautiful! The way Peeta loves Katniss and the way Katniss doesn't realize she loves Peeta, the way at the beginning when you learn Katniss is in Peeta's death... I actually thought that part was especially clever, having someone besides Gale be called, because you would expect it to be Gale. And then she introduces a whole new character that Katniss owes her and her family's life to! Talk about plot twist!

And the second one was realy smart, too; the way Katniss goes back into the Games. I thought the clock arena was pretty clever, and so was the escape!

Mockingjay..... I have to admit that one was kind of confusing. But I still think it was pretty smart, the way Katniss still can't confess that she loves Peeta, the way District 13 is still alive.... 

And the last thing I noticed was the narration. First person present was pretty smart! Because if it was first person past, you would know Katniss had survived, but with first person present you don't know. And if it was in third person past you wouldn't be able to understand Katniss as much as you do when she's narrating.
