Tuck Everlasting
The story Tuck...

The story Tuck Everlasting, by Natalie Babbitt, is a charming story that takes place in the sleepy town of Treegap, during the hot "dog days" of August. A family that lives forever, a girl who is tired of being shut up, and a seemingly unsuspicious man in a yellow suit all set on an adventure that has a beginning and a middle, but can never end.

I'll admit it. The first time I read the story, I didn't like it because Winnie didn't marry Jesse.  Then I saw the wisdom Winnie had to not drink it, and then my eyes were opened to exactly just how wonderful this book was.It seems too short for our age at first, but as you read it again, you find that this story is timeless.

One of the best books ever- its kinda sad its not quite up there in the classics. I guess its one of those books Miss Sparrow (Betsy-Tacy series) calls a classic-going-to-be".

I had to read this for class, and I really enjoyed it. Have you two seen the movie? It's Disney. Of course the book's better, but still!

Gordon says pakz. Is that an ice pack or some little kid thing? *grabs pakz* Ooh! Magical mysterious what the heck!

1. I had to read this book for class too, which I thought kind of ruined the experience, since we had to dissect the book and answer prompts and such. But still a really good book.

2. We saw the movie in class. It really played up the romance and downplayed Winnie's wisdom, or her simple child-like aura.

3. I guess the movie was pretty good, but I do have a T-shirt that clearly states: The Book Was Better. So I have to believe it.

If you haven't read the book, read it! Tip for reading books in school: The first time you bring the book home, read it all the way through so that you get the experience of reading it before you have to go back and reread and answer prompts and whatnot. That really helps me like the book better!

I LOVED this book. I listened to it on a car ride to NH and it was amazing. I've heard that I have to read it in school next year, but since I've already heard it, it won't be completely ruined.
