I like gylfie too.
She is smart.
I'd want her as a friend........not as a crush, obviously, cuz I'm a girl.

I don't crush. But some of those characters can be really cute! Like the Goblin King from Laberinth.

I have to say, if I have a fantasy crush, it's Kiel Gnomenfoot from Story Thieves by James Riley (love his books soooooooooo much). It's like, sometimes he's arrogant, and I'm like, they were right about him, he's arrogant, but then he'll do something noble and selfless and totally act like it's normal. Plus he manages to joke about being eaten. Then again, who doesn't?

I have sooooooooo meany! Hem, hem, hem,
Not in order (I don't have an order):
-Zuko
-Many MANY more.
Have you ever read a book, and the entire time you think the cherrie is a boy (or girl), and then you find out they are really a girl (or boy), and you realize you have a crush on someone the same gender as you??

My friend had somewhat of a situation like that, but in real life and in reverse, which is a mouthful to explain and I'm not going to. Her life and all that.
Also, Snape? I'm dying to find out what's attractive about him, because I personally cannot see the appeal.
Fictional Crushes! Continuing to post on all half-dead threads that look vaguely interesting after disappearing for months on end. Don't expect me back.

- Daja Kisubo
- Deryn Sharp
- Briar Moss
- William De Worde (problematic fave over here. Also if you blend William De Worde and Tiffany Aching, you essentially get me except less cool than both and with flaws amplified.)
- Susan Sto Helit
- Moist Von Lipwig and Adora Belle Dearheart, in a strange kind of way
- Reyna Avila Ramirez-Arellano
- Briar Moss
- In the movie, Pippin and Faramir.
- In the book, Eowyn.
- Lady Sandrilene Fa Toren
- The entire cast of Howl's Moving Castle
- In the webseries Nothing Much To Do (because it'd be strange to get literary crushes on actual Shakespeare characters), I'm aesthetically attracted to John, but Benedick's the one I'd end up being attracted to. He's essentially the exact formula (down to the hair) for That Middle School Crush I Never Really Got Over.)
- Did I mention Briar Moss?

Another Avatar fan! Yay!

May I ask what's wrong with that? People can like people of their own gender.
(March 10, 2015 - 4:18 pm)
-_-

What? Male-female relationships aren't the only type of relationships. It doesn't matter if you're a man and you like men, or you're a woman and you like women. Or if you like either gender, or neither. Humans come in all different forms, and there's nothing wrong with any of them. Nothing at all.

Dear .,
No offense intended! I, for instance, am a Christian. We are not allowed to marry people of the same gender because we believe we shouldn't. But we can agree to disagree.
(March 16, 2015 - 3:09 pm)
I agree with you, Brookiera. As a Muslim, I believe that it is wrong to marry people of the same gender, and for the same reasons.
(March 19, 2015 - 12:45 pm)
However, Brookeira, some Christian denominations do allow people of the same gender to marry.
(March 19, 2015 - 1:45 pm)
*exhales loudly* ., I find myself agreeing with you for once.
(March 20, 2015 - 9:56 am)
I agree with you. I like female and males in a romantic way. I love the person for the person, not their gender.
(March 23, 2015 - 3:55 pm)
My goodness, this conversation is going deep.
