This is a pretty new book, published this year, but I picked it up and loved it, and I thought it was worth talking about.

It's basically about a boy named Cal who's got a bad leg, and ever since he displayed some magic when he was younger, his father has tolod him that he was going to be invited to the iron trial, basically a test to see if you get into a sorcerer school, and drums it into his head to fail. It's written by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare, it's funny, but there's a fair share of action. IF any of you guys have read this, please respond!

Oh my gosh, amazing book! I loved it. I can't wait for The Copper Gauntlet!

I got my friend to read the first one but she refused to read The Copper Gauntlet because she didn't like the ending.
