Big explosion indeed! Yes yes yes yes yes! I ADORE this series! I am actually currently rereading it for the seventh or eighth time in honor of Everblaze coming out IN TWELVE DAYS! (November 4) I literally cannot stop freaking out!!!

I am totally on Team Dex. I love Fitz and Keefe (Keefe is absolutely hysterical, so he comes as a close runner up) but I just love Dex, the way he cares so much about Sophie, the way he's the underdog, and he's just an over all loving, charming character!
Iggy is hands down one of the best characters. I mean, a little imp with big eyes and bat wings who snores like a chainsaw?!
I personally think the cape style is cool. I mean, I'd totally wear capes if I could. Heck, if I ever learn to sew those and cloaks, I will wear them around everywhere.
I can't decide really what ability I'd want. Telepathy is pretty dang cool, along with empathy, inflicting, and technopathy.
Thoughts on Jolie and the Black Swan?!

I totally agree with you on Dex! I just love him! And I think Keefe is one of my favorite characters! He's so funny! I think Fitz is kind of stuck-up. I just really don't like him.
Oh, and I haven't read Exile yet. I
m goin gto this weekend. Can't wait!
And yes, I LOVE the cover! Have you seen the cover of Everblaze!

I'm kind of on the same page about Fitz. He does come across a bit stuck up. I like him, though he's not my favorite. But he tones down somewhat in Exile.

The cover is just AMAZING. Where do you think they're falling from? I'd say maybe a tower in Eternalia? Or one of the towers at Foxfire? Perhaps even somewhere in the human world? (Though it's doubtful looking at the crystal and all.) Plus, the sky is all red in the background. Fire? Everblaze? SO MANY QUESTIONS!
Bbbuuuttt, we get to find out soon!!! BECAUSE EVERBLAZE COMES OUT IN TEN DAYS!!!! I preordered Everblaze, plus I filled out the form to get the signed booktemplate and the bookmarks and all on Shannon's blog! SSSOOO EXCITED!

I think they're falling out of one the towers in Eternalia. I don't think it's Foxfire, though. Or maybe they're in the Forbidden Cities, and there's Everblaze everywhere. Not sure.
And yes, I'll let you know when I finish Exile. I just got it and I LITERALLY CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!
And oh my gosh, Everblaze is coming out in ten days?! SO EXCITING!!! I think I'm going to write a fan letter to Shannon Messenger because she is like the best author ever!! Oh, and did you know she wrote another series? I think it's called Sky Fall or something. I found a summary of the first book, Let the Sky Fall:

I think so too, though the towers in Foxfire do play a role in Exile. (You'll see!) Plus, implications were given that they could possibly be somewhat older in Everblaze, so there's more potential there.
YAY!!! Since Keefe is on the cover, does he look like how you pictured him? He actually does to me. And Dex looks like how I pictured him from the cover of Keeper 1, though Fitz's hair is so dark on Everblaze, it's not quite how I picuted him. I pictured him with a little lighter hair.
YUP!!! I'm so so so excited too! YOU SHOULD! I emailed her once, and she PERSONALLY replied! Plus, she talks a lot about the fanletters she gets and she loves getting them! Did you know Shannon has a blog? She has a lot of cool Keeper stuff on there, and regularly updates it with upcoming events and all!
Yes, I have seen her other series! I was tempted to read it, but I'm not as keen on romances, and when my mom saw the cover, she wasn't keen on my reading it. But maybe eventually I will.
Btw, after reading Exile, alicorns have become one of my favorite mythical creatures. Silveny is SO pretty there on the cover!

My mom doesn't want me to read the other series, too. She says maybe when I'm older. And like you, I'm not a big fan of romance, but I'll read it, if it's appropriate.
And I just had a GREAT idea!! We could start an RP based on the Keeper books!!! That'll be soooo COOL! Oh my gosh why didn't I think of this before? We should definately do it! What do you think?

Cool, I guess Shannon just did a really good job of describing him.
I KNOW! I was SO excited when I got it! I asked her if she'd consider maybe coming close to where I live, and she said that even though she didn't get to decide where she went on tours, she talk to her publisher and try to come near eventually!!! *happy dance!*
Yeah, the plot sounds good aside from the romance, I just think it's the majority of the book. If you ever do read it, tell me how it is.
Oooh, absolutely!!! I'd thought about it a long while ago, but there was never anyone who's read it!!! YES START ONE! It would be so fun! We could pick our special abilities and go to Foxfire and all!
