Had to utilize this at least once. 

I'm very annoyed at the publishing companies who, in Turtle Soup, had the chutzpah to mess up the lines. The original poem reads as follows:

"Who would not give all else for two p

ennyworth only of beautiful Soup?"

Some publishing companies prefer to fiddle with the spacing and publish this:

"Who would not give all else for two

Pennyworth only of beautiful Soup?"

That annoys me to no end. You wouldn't mess with the spacing in poetry, so what gives them the right to mess this up?
