Chatterbox: Blab About Books

So it seems...

So it seems I have read my entire book collection, and I am drifting around, looking for the next story to read. I have no idea what to read, however. Could you guys give me recommendations for some good books that are not non fiction please? Thanks!

I'm kind of a fairy tale/fantasy fan so all these books are in that genre:

The Young Merlin Trilogy by Jane Yolen (there is a complete collection in one book, I would get that becuase the individual books are very short)

Pegasus by Robin Mckinley

Beauty by Robin Mckinley

The Water Mirror by Kai Meyer

The Girl Who Could Fly by Victoria Forester

The Mermaid's Mirror by L.K. Madigan

Cinder by Marissa Meyer (first one in Lunar Chronicles series)

Wild Magic by Tamora Pierce (first one in Circle of Magic series)

Sandry's Book by Tamora Pierce (first one in Circle of Magic series)

The Singer of All Songs by Kate Constable (first one in Chanters of Tremaris series)

The Unwanteds by Lisa McMann (first one in The Unwanteds series)

Hope these help!

Some of these I have never heard of, and will check out, but I have to obsess over the Lunar Chronicles quickly. LOVE THOSE BOOKS! My friend has a signed, prepublished copy of Cress, and I am so jealous!

Okay. I have some cool ones that are rather thick. Not comparable to Harry Potter, though.

1. Peter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson

2. The Name of this Book is Secret by Pseudonymous Bosch

3. The Wednesday Wars by Gary D. Schmidt

4. Okay for Now by Gary D. Schmidt

5. The Candymakers by Wendy Mass

6. The Mysterious Benedict Society

7. Belly Up by Stuart Gibbs

8. Rules by Cynthia Lord

9. Magyk by Angie Sage

10. Ginger Pye by Elenor Estes

11. Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry

12. The Crazy Man by Pamela Porter

13. NERDS by Michael Buckley

14. Mousenet by Prudence Breitrose

15. The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster

Enjoy them!

@ Arianne:

I LOVE Robin McKinley! Have you read The Hero and the Crown? It is my favorite book.

Heads up to Owlfire about that too, then, I guess.
