It is time for another Book Quote Game!!! (I like these, or any other kind of quote games.)
If you've never played the Book Quote Game before, the rules are simple. I'll post the first quote (below) and you can try to guess what book it's from. If you guess correctly, you get to post your quote from a book! Then we go on from there.(Please no cheating, as in searching Google.)
Here is the starting quote:
The club flew suddenly out of the troll's hand, rose high up into the air, turned slowly over - and dropped, with a sickening crack, onto the owner's head.

It is The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien, written by Gandalf in a lettter to Frodo, supposed to be delivered by Barliman Butterbur, and included in the chapter entitled "Strider."
Nothing related to the Lord of the Rings is tricky for me.
