Does anybuggy have...

Does anybuggy have any suggeestions for science ficiton reads that doesn't have anything to do with outer space? I've read The Hunger Games, Divergent, and Unwind, but there just doesn't seem to be any more good science fiction books.

The Owl Keeper by Christiene Brodien-Jones

It is a bit creepy, but it ends well.

What's it about?

Futeristic times and this kid finds a silver owl which is really rare and knows the government will take it so he protects it, but meanwhile he is being set up without his knowing that he will be a keeper of goons (well, not goons. Mutants.) He gets shots and sickeningly sweet cookies with stuff to make him a mutant keeper. He tries to save the owl and get away from the mutants he will one day maybe have to care for. It is creepy, as I said, but it ends good.

Sorry for the bad grammer and spelling mistakes. I am almost ish in a hurry.

Try The Selection Series by Kiera Cass. It's considered a mix of The Hunger Games and The Bachelor. It's my favorite series ever. It's a trilogy: The Selection, The Elite, and The One.

I've read the Selection! I haven't read The One, though. What's The Bachelor? I've never heard of it.

What about Stranger in a Strange Land? It's a classic. You might also want to read selections from Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine. Also try out "So you Want to be a Wizard", Fahrenhight 451  (by Ray Bradbury) Lord of the Flies, and/or 1984 (by George Orwell).

How 'bout the Matched series? I didn't like them that much, cuz I don't really care for sci-fi, but you might.
