I LOVE the...
I LOVE the Carl Hiaasen books! I've read each one, like, a million times! My favorite is Hoot. I love that Beatrice girl! The only downside to these books is that the main characters don't really have personality. Some of them do, but the main one (who is always a boy) doesn't have character. Does anyone feel this way?

YES!!!!!!!!!! I love Carl Hiaasen! What about Flush? Do you like Flush too? I did prefer Hoot to all the others. Note they are all in Florida, too. I have not noticed the characters of the protagonist... I just think the parents have the least personality, though. They seem to just be "there," if you know what I mean. Of course, they are protective and such, but they seem to have the least personality.

Yeah, I did like Flush. I liked Abby. It's funny the way she keeps biting people.

I've read all four books, too! They are great! I hope Carl Hiaasen writes more books. They're all nature adventure stories, and all have something to do with the ecosystem and environment. They all take place in Florida, too!
