Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Fictuous Role Models
I'm putting this...

I'm putting this in BaB because even though they don't have to be from books, I figured a lot of them will be.

Which fictional characters inspire you? I have a full list, including Martha Jones, Former Intern Dana (maybe Dana, anyway), Hermione Granger from my childhood days, basically everyone in the Leviathan trilogy, Molly Weasley, and a bunch of others. I'll elaborate in detail later.

Some of my favorite/most influential female heroines are:

-Tris Prior from Divergent

-Hermione Granger from Harry Potter (but that's a given)

-Coraline from Coraline

-Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter

-Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games

That's about all I could think of...

Harriet from Harriet the Spy

Jacky from Bloody Jack (although one shouldn't try and imitate everything she does, because that would be crazy.)

I aspire to be like 99.8% of all fictitious people ever, except for the absolutely terrible ones.

Emily Starr from the Emily Trilogy by L.M. Montgomery (though that's gotten me in trouble a time or two.)

Annabeth from the Percy Jackson series. Seriously, who wouldn't?

Princess Jenna from the Septimus Heap series.

Jo March from Little Women.

Flora Belle Buckman from Flora and Ulysses (well, I don't aspire to be like her, but I think I am like her anyway)

Those are the ones I've thought of so far; there are probably tons more I've forgotten.

Hermione Granger, Imogen (False Prince- hey, leveled headed is good!), Amanda (WillowFalls)

and Anne (Green Gables) are some of my favorites.

Hmm...Misty and May of Pokemon I credit a lot of myself to. Other then that I'd say Alanna the Lioness, Dana Scully, Juliet O'hara, Sarah Walker, and Buffy Summers are good'uns. I'd also say Lilah Morgan. She's quite evil, but I also have to respect her for being so unapoligetic and strong about it. She was evil because she wanted to be. She didn't need to be saved. And Martha Jones? Sing it!

Fictional characters are my main role models (aside from people in history).

Books:

Anne Shirley: Cause I loved how she used her imagination and determination to overcome obstacles in her life, and shoot above and beyond what everyone ever thought she would be.

Jo March (Little Women)

Katy, Clover, and Elsie Carr (What Katy Did): Elsie especially cause to me she was an unsung hero, devoting herself to Katy and Clover's needs.

Sarah Crewe (A Little Princess)

Annabeth Chase (Percy Jackson and the Olympians)

Liesel Meminger (The Book Thief)

Movies:

Merida (Brave)

Cinderella

Grace Trey (Grace Unplugged)

Josh Wheaton (God's Not Dead)

And many many more but those are just a few.
