Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Inkheart
So, has anyone...

So, has anyone else read Inkheart by Cornelia Funke? If so, what did you think about it? I have read both Inkheart and Inkspell, and I can't wait for Inkdeath.

P.S. The books, and other Cornelia Funke books, have some VERY bad words in them. I would not recommend them to any younger than 10 or 11. I read one of them the week after Christmas, and the other just recently. I do not know what your views on such words are, sooo: ?

I LOVE Inkheart!!!! My mom just read it and it kind of freaked her out. I used to have a bit of a crush on Dustfinger, but now he is just my favorite character.

I haven't noticed any bad words in her books.....well cuss words....if that's what you mean by very bad words....and I first read them at around ten or so....

I read Inkheart, but not the others. I liked the idea of reading people out of books at first, but I wasn't all that impressed with the writing or the characters. Plus my mom really didn't like it either; I can't really remember why not, but she wouldn't let me read the others. Not that I minded, though.

I've read the first two . . . not that I noticed any words, but that was a while ago. The books, like many thick fantasy books, make me dizzy because I cannot let go about them. I must have read them when I was ten, maybe nine, and then again more recently. I really liked them, and Mo was just wonderful!

I read the first two and loved them! I didn't finish the second because I didn't like it, but i really should try again....

I read Inkheart and loved it, but then in the second book when she starts breaking all the rules she made clear in the first book, I didn't like it enough to keep going...
