Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Mystery
...

What mysteries are avid readers reading right now that an "old fashioned book" kind of person would like? I like Nancy Drew and Trixie Belden books.

I love Nancy Drew and Trixie Belden too! They're some of my all time favorite series!

I haven't really read these, but some other famous mystery books are The Boxcar Children, and The Hardy Boys.

There's also the American Girl mysteries. I've read a lot of those, and though they were written more recently, they take place in history, so you might like those as well!

Hope this helps!

I enjoyed the Nancy Drew mysteries, too! Although I don't read them anymore, I still remember how good they were. I also have started reading the American Girl Mysteries. I have only read one, which was Clue in the Castle Tower. It was a Samantha mystery, and right now I am reading The Haunted Opera which is a Marie Grace mystery. They are very good books, and I am getting a new American Girl mystery every time I go to a book store!

I love mystery books. Nancy Drew, the Hardy Boys, The Three Investigators, and Encyclopedia Brown are all great books. And, yes, the American Girls mysteries are pretty good, too.

Nancy Drew books are really good to read! I enjoyed "The Clue in the Album" a lot. I have a few American Girl Mystery books, but haven't read them. You may like them! :)

The American Girl mysteries are really good. I haven't read any Nancy Drews in a long time, but I liked them before. When I was little I was so envious of Nancy's blue convertible. :)
