For my February...
For my February Book Club, I will be doing the book Black Beauty by Anna Sewell. It is a very sweet (and a little sad) story about a horse's life. It tells about his home when he was young. He gets sold into different places, some of which treat him badly and some that were kind and cared for him properly.

Signing up ends: Saturday, February 1
Book club begins: Sunday, February 2
Important info: Please be sure to have a copy of the book before the book club starts. We will be reading the unabridged version, of course!

I'd love to join as well, but I don't have the book, so I can't. If you plan to do one of these next month, Nina, you should use a Little House book.

You can probably download the book on a tablet if you have one.
You can also read the book online on a website called Gutenberg. You can simply search for the book Black Beauty in the book catalog, and it will be the first result that you see. It is 373 kB. Then you can read the book online! :)

Thanks, Nina, but my mom doesn't allow me to go on Gutenburg, but Mag Fan said that I can go over to her house to read the book, so I'm all set!
