Chatterbox: Blab About Books

BOOK RECCOMENDATIONS??
Does anyone know...

Does anyone know of any good books? My 9-year old brother doesn't have anything to read and I'm trying to help him out. He's probably pretty close to my reading level and has similar taste in books. (No John Green, though. He is, after all, only nine years old.)

By the way, I started reading The Beginning of Everything. It's amazing.

If he has a taste for fantasy, there's nothing wrong with Percy Jackson. And the Chronicles of Narnia are classic.

Maybe All Creatures Great and Small by James Herriot if he likes animals. It does have some swearing but not horrendously bad.
