I'm currently reading the book Black Beauty by Anna Sewell. I'm almost finished and I stayed up really late tonight just reading it, and that's how good the story is! It kept me reading all morning and afternoon.
This book is told from a horse named Black Beauty's point of view in the first person. His owners are forced to sell him to other owners. The story is about his different adventures in different places with new owners and meeting new companions. He suffers great pain and hardships in some places, and lives a wonderful life in another.
It is a really great story, and I'm finishing it up tomorrow. My The Princess and the Goblin book club is almost done, so Black Beauty might be my next book club for February. More details to come about that soon!

I have also read Black Beauty quite a while back. It was a really good book! And making a book club would be nice too, but I don't think I could join since I have not read Black Beauty in such a long time.

Have any of you read 'The Mysterious Benedict Society'? I have! If you really like mysteries then I totally recommend this series.

Sofia, I love the Mysterious Benedict Society! I've read all three of the books in the series, inclduing The Extraordinary Education of Nicolas Benedict. Have you read that book? If not, I highly recommend it. The books are so good! Welcome to the Chatterbox, Sofia! :)
