What are some...
What are some of your favorite book genres or your favorite kinds of books? I like classics the best, and I like a little bit of realistic fiction and fantasy.
What about your least favorite book genres and kinds of books? You may be surprised but I really don't like the idea of science fiction. Everyone reads science fiction these days, but not me! I'm like the different one, since most of the people in my reading class read science fiction while I'm reading a classic. Science fiction is not really my style, but if you think you have some good book suggestions, please post them below! :)

I love the classics too! My other favorites are historical fiction, fantasy, and mystery. Basically, anything that takes me away from the modern real world. Unless the realistic fiction is a character that is alarmingly like me, so I read to relate.
As to science fiction, I'm not very far into it, but I'm currently reading Ender's Game per Theo's suggestion. It's pretty good so far.

I love fantasy, but very discriminately, since so many fantasy books are "popular," but are just trashy. Also the kind of genre when real world people cross into the fantasy worlds, like Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and Chronicles of Narnia.
I don't really like realistic fiction anymore, since kids my age have a lot of angsty stuff going on that's hard enough to experience yourself, let along read about.
I also love historical fiction, though that's kind of spare pickings.
And classics. I love classics, especially Austen, Brontë, Dickens and Conan Doyle!

I like Classics but it depends on the classic itself. Dystopian books are always fun to read, although not always good. I guess, I like Fiction in general. For me, it really depends on the book. All I can't stand, is the "Teen Love"-Genre.

My favorite genres are Fantasy and Historical fiction. I also like Classics, although it depends one which ones. I rarely ever read realistic fiction, but the few things I have read, I've liked. Science fiction is ok, but again, it depends on the book.

I really like fantasy and sci fi. I also like Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes mysteries.
I don't like most realistic ficton. I also really hate romance. Blah!!!
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is really funny science fiction.
Classics are cool too!!! :)

Hmm, I like historical fiction, mysteries, just plain fiction, fantasy, any classic and sometime non-fiction if its written well (such as Bomb, by Steve Sheinkin)
I don't really like sci-fi that much either-realy, though, I like most genres!
