Okay, so am I the only person on Chatterbox who has read Surviving the Applewhites?! It's so good and funny and real I can't believe it's not more popular. 

So, a delinquent boy with body piercings and dyed red hair named Jake Semple goes to live in North Carolina with his grandpa after his parents are arrested for growing marajuana and he burns down his school. The plan does not last long and Jake, when normal society has admitted it can't cope with him, is sent to live with the Applewhites. They are  chaotic fmily of artists, except for E.D. (NOT Edie) who has no creativity. Wht happens there? Read to find out! Newberry Honor.

I'm not sure. I faintly remember reading it. Hm. Anyway, I'll read it again as soon aa I can get my hands on it!

Um... I read that a very long time ago and only remember the cover. I was eight or something when i read it so I really don't remember much besides the fact that it scared me.
