Sweet! Okay...

Heroes: Percy Jackson, Peter Pan, Finn Whitman (Kingdom Keepers), Robin Hood, Harry Potter, Peter and Edmun Pevensie (Chronicles of Narnia)

Heroines: Annabeth Chase (Percy Jackson, no surprise), Anne Shirley (Anne of Green Gables), Jo March (Little Women), Piper McCloud (The Girl Who Could Fly), Sophie Foster (Keeper of the Lost Cities), Katy Carr (What Katy Did), Sara Crew (A Little Princess), Merida (Brave), Cinderella, and far too many others to name. Those are just a few.

Villains: Luke Castellan (Percy Jackson), Prince John (Robin Hood), Stepmother (Cinderella), Mor'du (Brave), Captain Hook (Peter Pan), Ombra (Peter and the Starcatchers)

Love interests: I don't really read romance, so...

Anne and Gilbert (Anne of Green Gables) Jo & Professor Bhaer (Little Women), Amy and Laurie (Little Women), Jasper and Olivia (Road to Avonlea), Felicity and Gus (Road to Avonlea), Robin Hood and Maid Marian.

I really like the classic romances. Those I don't mind, and Anne and Gilbert will always be my absolute favorite!

Oh, yes, I also love Merida!

And Luke Castellan is a really good villain--especially how he turns out in the end!

@ Everinne:

I know! I think that's the reason Luke is maybe my number one favorite villian.

Do plays count? Plays should count.

Protagonists: Sam Vimes, Susan Sto Helit, William de Worde, Granny Weatherwax, and Moist Von Lipwig (all Discworld), Alice (Wonderland the musical), Fay Apple (Anyone Can Whistle), Bobby (Company), Sympathy Jones (...Sympathy Jones)

Antagonists: Bellatrix Lestrange and Dolores Umbridge (Harry Potter), Jonathan Teatime, the Lords and Ladies, the Cunning Man, the Rat King, the Hiver, the Auditors, Mr. Pin and Mr. Tulip, Reacher Gilt, Wolfgang von Uberwald,  and the Summoning Dark (all Discworld), Hatter and Morris (Wonderland the musical), Vivienne Kensington (the *musical* version of Legally Blonde), Vanessa (Concrete Jungle), the Jabberwock (the Tampa version of Wonderland. Granted I know nothing about him other than that he had this epic song about eating people, but c'mon), the Witch (Into the Woods), Evanora (aka the only good part of Oz the Great and Powerful), Azkadellia and Zero (Tin Man), Kitty (Sympathy Jones)

Love Interests: J. Bowden Hapgood (Anyone Can Whistle), Jack (Wonderland the musical), Sybil Ramkin, Sacharissa Cripslock, and Adora Belle Dearheart (all Discworld), Hatter (SyFy's Alice), Henry (Sympathy Jones)

Uncategorized/Cynics: Joanne (Company), Havelock Vetinari and Margolotta von Uberwald (Discworld)

@ TNO:

Oh, I remember the Syfy version of Alice. It was really interesting. I liked the Hatter well enough in that. Though I like him better in The Looking Glass Wars.

Favorite Heroes: I'm sure I like some heroes, but right now I can't think of any. Except for Silver (Pokemon Adventures). I would say I also like Ruby (Pokemon Adventures), but I only really like him for his hat and shoes. I'm not as shallow as that last sentence made me sound. His shoes can make you run really, really, really fast so that would be awesome to have and his hat is just... his hat. It is truly amazing. I'm sure I'll think of some protagonist I like later.

Favorite Heroines: Uh... I'll get back to you on this. I'm sure there are some I like! Somewhere.

Favorite Villains: Murtaugh, Thorn, and Galbatorix (Inheritance cycle), Orochimaru (Naruto), Voldemort and Draco Malfoy (I'm also strangely fond of Goyle) (Harry Potter), the Love Machine (worst. name. ever. for an evil AI.) (Summer Wars), Viserys (A Game of Thrones), Giovanni (just about every Pokemon thing imaginable), Team Magma (any Pokemon thing happening in Hoenn), Jessie, James, and Meowth (the Pokemon TV show), Redd (The Looking Glass Wars), Kludd and Nyra (Guardians of Ga'Hoole), XANA (see? If you ever make an evil AI, name it something cool like XANA, not the Love Machine! Geez, Wabisuke!) (Code Lyoko), Gollum (Wasn't sure if I should put him here...) (Lord of the Rings), Smaug (The Hobbit), just about everyone in the Evillious Chronicles- wait, that's not true. None of them are true villains, but they should probably all go in this category, so I like Rilliane (I really like Alexeil, but he's not evil enough to go here) and Kayo Sudou (Seven Deadly Sins), ... Yeah. I like tons of villains.

Favorite Mentors: Obi-Wan Kenobi (Star Wars) and Gandalf (Lord of the Rings)

Favorite Love Interests: I really don't like love interests at all.... Oh wait, I do like one. Her name is Amarelle and she's from my Enackra stories. I know it's rude to put my own character in here, but Amarelle is amazing. I wrote her as the love interest for this one person who was annoying me (he kept on flirting with all my female characters, for pete's sake!) and she's enormously overprotective and abusive of him. And she has a frying pan. And now I don't have to worry about the annoying guy anymore!

Heroes: Bilbo Baggins (the Hobbit), Hamlet (Hamlet), Cameron Smith (Going Bovine [is he a hero?  I don't think he's a hero.  In any case, he's a terrible role model {not that he's my role model or anything, I just like his personality}]), Silas and Marcia (Septimus Heap books), Augustus Waters (The Fault in Our Stars).

Heroines: Hazel Grace Lancaster (The Fault in Our Stars), Beatrice Prior (Divergent trilogy [when she's still Beatrice]), Mary "Jacky" Faber (Bloody Jack), Jenna (Septimus Heap), Alaska Young (Looking for Alaska).

Villains: The White Witch (The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe), DomDaniel and Simon (Septimus Heap).

Mentors: Gandalf (the Hobbit), Silas, Zelda and Marcia (Septimus Heap), Lupin (Harry Potter...Azkaban), Dulcie (Going Bovine).

Love Interests (book characters you have a crush on?  Okay...): Augustus Waters (see Heroes), James "Jaimy" Fletcher (Bloody Jack {only kind of}).

Side Kicks/Supporting Characters: Baldor, Gonzo and Dulcie (Going Bovine), Beetle, Stanley, Wolf Boy (Septimus Heap), Dorrie, Norrie, etc. (the Hobbit), Touchstone (As You Like It), Moth (Love's Labour's Lost).

I put in some Shakespeare there, if that's all right.

I think the love interest category is for characters who are the love interest of the protagonist. Of course, in some works, it's hard to tell which is which (example: Disney!Beauty and the Beast. Apperently, the writers couldn't agree who the protagonist was).

I see.  Well, in any case, I mostly just think "Uh, this character is terrible...*whines*" with love interests to the main character.

Also, to add, Lucian from the Stravaganza trilogy in heroes, Rodolpho (I think that's his name?  The guy with the fireworks in City of Masks.) from the Stravaganza trilogy in mentors and the di Chimici from the Stravaganza trilogy in villains.

And of course, sometimes, the love interest is also the antagonist, like in the Everlost books--or the mentor, I've heard, but I haven't read/seen any examples of that.

I forgot mentors. Hmm.

Favorite mentors: Miss Stacey (Anne of Green Gables), Hetty King (Road to Avonlea), Miss Alice (Christy) (does anyone know that book or show?)

I vaguely remember both the book and the show from a long time ago. I can picture the actress who played Christy but I can't recall her name.

@ Admin:

The actress who played Christy was Kellie Martin. My mom and I have read the book and watched the entire series. We then we went and visited where the real life sites of the schoolhouse/church and mission house were. I could literally imagine Christy teaching there, though the mission house and the school are no longer there. But it was really cool!

Thanks, BHR.

Here's my extended list (apparently when I posted this thing, my brain was on standby):

More Heroes: Han Solo (Star Wars, even though all my friends shake their heads and demand, "Why not Luke? How can you like Han Solo better than Luke?), Percy Jackson (Percy Jackson and the Olympians), Faramir (the book version, he annoys me in the movie) (LotR),

More Heroines: Annabeth Chase (PJ and the O), Catherine Linton (the younger Cathy) (Wuthering Heights),

More Villains: Luke Castellan (PJ and the O), Darth Vader (Star Wars)

I love how everyone loves Gandalf. You can't get any better than Gandalf, in my opinion. And I'd like Dumbledore, but there's too much dark history about him...plus, I did NOT like him in the movies. Wish they picked Ian McKellan instead of Michael Gambon.

More Love Interests: Laurie (Little Women), Gilbert (The Anne books), Dean (in the Emily trilogy, even though he does get on your nerves)
