This is a good book so far! I haven't finished it yet. But so far it's great! About a kid named Rob who accidentally summons the Demon of Electricity while recklessly messing around with his electric wires. The Demon gives him awesome electrical powers to show the world. Cover illustration by Fanny Y. Cory, public domain, since it's from 1901.
And yup... I got into it cause Baum wrote both this and the Oz books.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to read as many Baum books as I can this summer because of all you've posted about it. :)
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe his last name means tree in German. Don't know why that's relevant, but it needed to be said.

Next I'm reading Sky Island and the comic book version of Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz. Then the comic book version of The Road to Oz and the Emerald City of Oz comic, and probably Queen Zixi of Ix as well. I hope you enjoy the Baum books yourself, please post your reviews as you read them.
