Chatterbox: Blab About Books
Hey, has anyone read the Beyonders series? I just finished the first book, A World Without Heroes.
The third and final book in the series recently came out and I just read the first, and it is AWE-SOME! The book follows Jason, who get sucked to another world called Lyrian, where the evil wizard emperor Maldor rules, where he gathers that people from his world (the Beyond, as the inhabitants of Lyrian say) are called Beyonders. Jason accidentally stumbles upon a syllable of the Word that, when spoken in Maldor's presence, will unmake the evil emperor. Jason stumbles upon another Beyonder, Rachel, and the two of them join to embark on the quest for the world that can unmake Maldor.
The book has a gripping plot and writing style, an intriguing world, and is peppered with small amounts of humor that instantly make it suitable for anyone who has read Rick Riordan's novels. I reccomend them as a way to pass the time until The House of Hades is released. I can't wait to read the next one.
Anyone else read these books?

If it's for Rick Riordan novel lovers, than this is totally going on the top of my Must Read list!
And I know, I litterally CANNOT wait for The House of Hades!

Sometimes I feel like all the best books I have ever read have been categorized, packaged, and distributed to all the Chatterboxers just for my convenience. YES, I have most certainly read The Beyonders! All three books. Upon my insistence, my dad read all of them too (the first book I had nearly force him to read but after that he always beat me to the library for the next book in the series). I love the way Brandon Mull, as JDD so eloquently said "peppered with small amounts of humor." I have hugged these books, and thrown them down in fury only to pick them up again, and walked from the bus stop home without looking up from the intriguing world of Lyrian. They are easily my favorite of Brandon Mull's books (I've read all of them so far).
Can we chat about Ferrin and Tark?
