Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Book to movie adaptations WE WANT
So, this thread...

So, this thread is about book-to-movie adaptations that have not happened but that people want to happen. The other one is about adaptations that HAVE happened.

The adaptation I want is Sisters Grimm! I REALLY want to see it happen!

I would love to The Sister's Grimm as  movie! Also, The Kane Chronicles. Oh and The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel. There is going to be movie for The Nichloas Flamel movie for sure (I heard the author say so myself), I just don't know when.

I'd prefer Kane as a film too! And a Kane/Percy cross movie (when RR finally writes that Kane/Percy series we want so much).

I'd also like to see the Ralph Mouse books as films. They're pretty good, and so much more unrealistic and fantastic than the Ramona/Henry Huggins books (not that those aren't good too).

You know, the person who wrote the GWCF originally wrote it as a movie script. If I remember right, the studios she pitched it to rejected it.

Oh, also, I'd love to see The Strictest School in the World and its sequels made into movies.

That's sad. GWCF should totally be a movie! It would be worth it. And the ending is great!

I would have to second the Willow Falls series, the Kane Chronicles, and Sisters Grimm.

Other ones I would like to see would be Mother-Daughter Book Club, Kingdom Keepers, and Gallagher Girls.  Heist Society was supposed to be a movie, but they were going to be college students.  Some famous person was involved.  I hope it actually ends up coming out!

Drew Barrymore was the famous person. She is going to produce and possibly direct the Heist Society movie, which I hear is still going through development.

Rodney says ogin. I think Rodney made a typo and meant Odin, Norse god of the sky.

Ooh! I want Kingdom Keepers in a movie too! It would be so cool! And Peter and the Starcatchers!

I'd say the Mandie myteries, but they have, though, they're not like the books. So sad... And they should make The People of Sparks! Heck, the rest of the Ember books!
