Chatterbox: Blab About Books

The View From Saturday
I highly recommend...

I highly recommend this book. I had it on my list of books to read FOR EVER and then I finally found it at the library. It's really good. It's about four sixth-graders who become good friends. They are picked by their teacher for the Academic Bowl. This book involves a few tea parties, a wedding, and a sea turtle rescue. It also inspired me to learn calligraphy.

I plan to read all of E.L. Konigsburg's books for children and teens.

I love E. L. Konigsburg.  There's a bookclub in the BaB where we're reading her biography of Eleanor of Aquitaine.  Thought you might be interested...

I plan to read The View From Saturday.

BaB stands for Blab about Books.  Chatterbox shorthand.

I read that book back when I was in fifth grade.  From what I can remember, it was good.  My favorite E.L. Konigsburg book is From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler.

I read that a year ago, and then again after I got it for Christmas. It's a good book.

I read this book in fifth grade and all out hated it. If I find a copy again, I'll tell you why.

I just finished this yesterday for Battle of the Books. I thought it was really good if not a bit strange. I liked it a lot though.

I've read The View from Saturday and at first I didn't understand it. I reread it, and I really liked it, but I have one question! Why is it called The View from Saturday? I am really wondering , so I hope someone replies!

Wow!  I just finished that like half-an-hour ago! It's such a good book, isn't it?  Admin, have you read The View From Saturday, or any of E. L. Konigsburgs works, for that matter?  They are good books.
