Okay, I made
Chatterbox: Blab About Books
Nonfiction
Okay, I made...
Okay, I made a thread on this before, but somehow, it got dumped in the forgotten pages of Blab about Books and I still can't find it. So I'll do another one:
Does anyone have any recommendations for any really good nonfiction books? I now have to read two hours a week of nonfiction for Language Arts class, and I desperately need help, as I'm the type to hole up with a fantasy book and make up mythical stories and such, not read factual passages. We're allowed to read any type of nonfiction -- how-to books, biographies, autobiographies, informative books, etc. PLEASE HELP! I greatly appreciate it!

Mary, Bloody Mary is a good one. It's about Queen Mary of England, before she was queen. It's really good. Death Be Not Proud also is highly depressing, but interesting.

There's Mary, Queen of Scotts. It's sad, but interesting. And there's the Laura Ingalls Wilder books. Sorry, that's all I can think of.

Yellow Star is good. Hmmm . . . Let me think a bit . . . :)
