By Into the Woods, do you mean the one that was adapted into a musical? Then yes, I know what it's about/have had a part in it (I was Red :)

Yava says wmin. Something about women. I don't know.

...wait, Into the Woods wasn't based on a book. The act one plots were adaptions of common fairytales (with the exception of the baker's plot, which was original) but not any particular book, and act two is a deconstruction of act one. #confused #lateresponse

That's what I thought. There is a book called Into the Woods, though; it just isn't related, as far as I know (I haven't read it). Apparently, there was confusion because of the title and the common misconception that All Musicals Are Adaptations (except that ITW's first act technically is an adaptation, just... not of that).

I've read I, Corriander, but none of the others.

Has anyone read:

Seraphina by Rachel Hartman

By the way, no offence, but why would you go by Sauron? He's kind of evil.

I saw a movie called The Last Unicorn. Was it based on the book?

If it was animated, then yes, it probably the Last Unicorn movie.

I saw The Last Unicorn... BEFORE I KNEW IT WAS A BOOK.  So I'm going to read the book.

My half-sister's mom (not my mom, we share a dad) is first cousins with Peter S. Beagle.  He also wrote, "I See By My Outfit", which I also want to read.  Funny coincidence, my mom and I just came back from visiting with the guy who motorcycled across the country with Peter S. Beagle (my mom knows him through this guy who a character is based on in the book.)

Confuzzlement!

Spamster in his spamster cage says maxp.  I think there's a Max in our school, but there isn't a P.

I think Sauron was a mixed up child who never got any guidance. And then he turned evil and decided to conquor all of Middle Earth. And I like evil characters. And how many people do you meet that go in the form of an eye? You have to admit, that is some pretty awesome transformation.

Well, we used to have a BellaTrix. Evil characters (if done right) can add so much to the work they appear in that some readers love them. But as another former ChatterBoxer (Mary Liz, who might have left before you came here) said in 2010, "Liking a character as a character is different from liking a character as a person. While I would probably not have sleepovers with, say, a person like Redd, if I knew her, I love reading about her. And, for that matter, putting a picture of her on my gmail status and suggesting Redd as a baby name for #7."

#7 was a sibling, by the way.

Anyway, to respond to Sauron, I've read I, Coriander.  I really enjoyed it.
