Eragon
Has anyone read...

Has anyone read Eragon? I started it last night and it's AWESOME! I know that most of my friends are intrested in it, so I decided to start a place to talk about it!

If you haven't read any of the books in the Inheritance triology (that has four books) you should!

For awhile I thought I might've been allergic to hardcore fantasy, but no. Tongue out

I've read Eragon. I have a lot of rants and various paraphenalia but I will just say one thing:

Am I the only person that thinks that the Ra'zac eat Qumiby (which happens in Brisnger, I think, but don't quote me on that) they should say  "Looks like meat's back on the menu, boys."?

I liked this quite a bit, although it's not really the thing you can read over and over and over again without skipping chapters that annoy you. However, the first book has the best action and most coherant plot. Eldest (the second one) isn't bad either, but afterwards it starts to feel a little run-on and can make you wish for a more interesting plot, especially when Eragon becomes a little too powerful and he is no longer the underdog. My favorite character is still Murtagh, though, and the only reason why I like Inheritance (the last book) is because he becomes more of a central character.
