I've had trouble finding anything memorable, so you will get an unmemorable quote. I am going to cut out a large portion in the middle to avoid giving away the character's name.
"These handmade candles are both practical and romantic. And the colored stripes tell the time, which is very handy if your electric clock stopped. Each stripe burns exactly one half hour, more or less. Twelve stripes, six hours."
Oh, I think I know this one! But I'll let someone else guess.
