In my opinion,
Chatterbox: Blab About Books
In my opinion, all books by Yu Wo are blessed by the God of Light, and I have loved anything that I have read by Yu Wo so far. Thanks to the benevolent God of Light opening my eyes to the wonders of the internet, I first found 1/2 Prince, then Legend of Sun Knight, then No Hero. All of these here books have skyrocketed to the top of my Fantasy Favorites list, I would give them all (except No Hero which I am not far enough in to rate) 10/10 and would reccomend them to anyone. The basic plots of 1/2 Prince and The Legend of Sun Knight are;
1/2 Prince: Feng Lan, is a girl who lives in the future with her brother. They both play a virtual reality game called The World and in The World, her brother points out that since she is a female, and a mage, other players always help her level up, and protect her from everything. This makes her angry, and she basically tells him that she could be a warrior, and level up without any help. So in the newest virtual reality game, Second Life she plays as the male elf, Prince and this book is about her adventures as Prince while she keeps her identity secret and proves her brother wrong.
The Legend of Sun Knight: In this world there is the Temple of Light, which commands twelve holy knights. Among these knights, the kindest most virtuous holy knight is the Sun Knight. This book is about the 38th Sun Knight and his (mis)adventures as he strives to keep this image as a perfect knight, while concealing his true feelings.
I love both these books and really wish they would come out in the USA, in English. Has anyone else read books by Yu Wo? If you have could you say what you thought about them? I hope that you will read these two wonderful books, because if you don't, you are seriously missing out on a lot of laughes.
