Azumanga Daioh/Yotsubato!
Is anyone here...
Is anyone here a Kiyohiko Azuma fan? I have read all of Yotsubato! that is currently out (10 books I believe) and read/watched all of Azumanga Daioh. I am in such awe of Azuma's work; he is sucha an amazing author. I can completely empathize with each of his characters. Has anyone else read any of his work? Who are your favorite characters? In Azumanga Daioh, my favorite is Sakaki-san, in Yotsubato! it is probably Yasuda-san. Yotsubato!11 is coming out in September! I'm so excited!

I read three or four Yotsuba&! books in French. They're really good. :)

I have compared people with Tomo-chan so many times I can't COUNT them all! And then, on days when I feel like the only thing that makes sense is breathing, I put on the accent and go all Osaka.
So yes. I do love Azumanga Daioh. I haven't read Yotsubato, though. What's it about?

Yotsubato! is about this little girl named Yotsuba who is 5, I believe, and goes around town on adventures with her Daddy and her next door neighbors, the Ayases. It is so funny and cute, you should definetly read it!
I'm kind of a combanation of all the Azumanga Daioh characters: as quiet (sometimes) as Sakaki-san, as crazy (sometimes) as Tomo-chan, as rational (sometimes) as Yomi-san, as spacy (sometimes) as Osaka-san, and as smart as Chiyo-chan! I can really relate to all the characters.
