This book is beautiful.

I finished it today, and it was one of those books that really move me and I never forget. It's so.... magical. I'll never look at life the same way again. Who else has read it? 

 

I have, years ago. I have my own copy on the bookshelf, a gift from a friend. I think I'll reread it soon!

I've read The Little Princess.  I don't know about The Little Prince.  I think there's a picture book by the same name, but I'm assuming you're talking about something else.

 

The Little Prince by Antoine De Saint-Exupéry. It's thin and has several illustrations, but there is a lot of text, so I would not classify it as a picture book.

I don't think it's a picture book, though it isn't that advanced. That doesn't mean you can't enjoy it.

I did! My class read it together. It is so sad in the end. Cry My teacher also put on the movie, it was so corny. Every second you hear someone singing"I'm out of air!"or "little man I'm on your side!" They destoeied the book in the movie, not a lot of the things were right. But Bob Fosse was the snake and the person who plays the orignal Willy Wonka was the fox and the prince was too adorable! And I cried in the end.

OMG.   I love, love, love that book.  Antion de Saint-Exupery is one of my very, very favorites.  His prose is almost like poetry, it's written so simply and beautifully...

You should read Wind, Sand, and Stars, also by him, about his experiences as a mail carrier and pilot in the 1930's.  Although it's written for adults, you should definitely give it a crack.

I've read it, but I don't remember it much. I was planning to not reread it again, but now, when I find a copy, I will try ^_^
