Chatterbox: Blab About Books

The Kingdom Series
Whoa.....I l ...

Whoa.....

I love these books! After I read both of the Left Behind series' I got really bored with other books and haven't beem reading, but my mom bought me this series by Chuck Black.

This series is an allegory to the Bible, and it's really good and vivid. Throughout the first two books (that's all I've read so far!) I was like gasping! And I could see where in the Bible I was. I love this series!

It's about a boy who was chosen by the King of Arrethtrea to fullfill a mission...

I'm not gonna one of those people who spoil great books, so I won't  say any more!

That sounds like a cool idea! Myself, I am Christian and don't find usually many books related to religion and that sort of thing. I'll definitely look for it.

Well, I know they're good. But let me just say, these books are allagories; not stories.

Sounds cool.

What is the definition of allegory?

@ Melody:

From my dictionary: "A story, poem or picture that can be interpreted to reveal a hidden meaning, typically a moral or political one."

Yeah, an allegory is like a story, with parallels to real things; in this case the Bible.
