Percy has been in some sort of a coma for months and months. When he wakes up, he finds his way to Camp Jupiter, the Roman Half-Blood camp. He meets Hael, who is under a curse, and Frank, whose life depends on a burnt-up stick. The the three of them go on a quest to free Thanatos, the god of Dead. That may not seem like a good idea, but since he has  been chained up by a giant, monsters that demigods kill don't stay dead for more than a day, a couple hours even! Set in the 'other' camp for half-bloods, the Son of Neptune is full of adventure and suspense! And with the cliff-hanger ending, I can't wait till the Mark of Athena comes out!
